Special Policies — Read Before You Engage

At Hauchi Kay Catering Service, we operate under a strict, clearly defined framework. All clients are required to read, understand, and adhere to these policies without exception.

Booking & Reservation Policy

All service engagements must be formally confirmed via a signed service agreement and a mandatory non-refundable booking deposit of a minimum of 50% of the total quoted amount. No event date shall be considered reserved until this deposit has been received and confirmed.

⚠️ Verbal or informal bookings are not binding and will not guarantee event date availability.

Payment Policy

The full outstanding balance must be settled no later than 72 hours prior to the event date. Hauchi Kay Catering Service reserves the absolute right to withhold services and cancel service agreements where full payment has not been received within this timeframe.

⚠️ Outstanding balances on the day of the event will result in immediate suspension of all catering services.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellations 14+ days before the event: forfeiture of deposit only. Cancellations 7–13 days before: forfeiture of 75% of total amount. Cancellations within 72 hours or on the event day: full forfeiture of all payments made. No exceptions.

⚠️ Deposits are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances.

Menu Changes & Final Headcount Policy

All final menu selections and confirmed guest headcounts must be submitted no later than 5 business days before the event. Changes after this deadline cannot be guaranteed. Increases in headcount within 48 hours attract a mandatory surcharge.

⚠️ Last-minute headcount reductions do not qualify for refunds or price adjustments.

How do I confirm a booking?

A formal booking requires a signed service agreement and a minimum 50% non-refundable deposit. No date is considered reserved without written confirmation and deposit payment.
